Hotshot Dispatch Service for Owner-Operators

What Is Hotshot Trucking?

Hotshot trucking uses heavy-duty pickup trucks (typically Ford F-350, Ram 3500, or similar) with gooseneck or bumper-pull trailers to haul smaller, time-sensitive loads. Common hotshot freight includes oil field equipment, construction materials, agricultural parts, and any cargo that needs to move fast. Hotshot is often the fastest way to get into owner-operator trucking — a used F-350 and a gooseneck trailer costs significantly less than a semi setup, and you can operate without a CDL for loads under 26,000 lbs combined weight.

What’s Included in Our Hotshot Dispatch Service

  • Load finding & booking — We source hotshot loads from DAT, Truckstop, and direct broker networks specializing in expedited freight
  • Rate negotiation — Hotshot loads are time-sensitive, which gives us leverage to negotiate premium rates
  • Broker vetting — Every broker verified on FMCSA SAFER before we book
  • 24/7 support — Hotshot freight doesn’t wait and neither do we

Hotshot Dispatch Pricing

  • Hotshot trucks (gooseneck/bumper-pull): 5% of gross per load — you only pay when we book you a load
  • No upfront payment — zero setup fees
  • No contracts — cancel anytime

CDL vs Non-CDL Hotshot

  • Non-CDL hotshot: Under 26,000 lbs combined vehicle weight. No CDL required.
